After driving from Milan to Verona, you will be taken on a guided tour, following in the footsteps of William Shakespeare's extraordinary play Romeo and Juliet. You will see the infamous balcony of the Capulet residence where Romeo is said to have named his beloved Juliet.

Although Verona is extremely popular thanks to this novel, this city has much more to offer: the famous Roman amphitheater built in the 1st century AD and where Verona's outdoor operas take place every summer. In addition, the tour will take you to Piazza Mercato (the market square) and other beautiful architectural places to see in the center of Verona.

For lunch, you will have free time to explore the city on your own and optionally go shopping or simply enjoy the picturesque old town in one of Verona's beautiful cafes.

After lunch, we will continue our adventure towards Sirmione, an ancient fortified village at the end of a narrow peninsula that extends for about 4 km into Lake Garda and offers wonderful panoramic views of the eastern and western shores of the lake. You can take an optional boat ride on the lake.
