Description

DAY 1: ARRIVAL - BANGKOK
Arrival in Bangkok, meeting with our driver in charge and transfer to the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at the H-Residence Sathorn.
Rooms available from 14:00.
Free lunch and dinner, overnight in Bangkok.

DAY 2: HALF DAY FLOATING MARKET IN THE MORNING
Morning dedicated to visiting the Damnoen Saduak floating market which is about 100 km from Bangkok. Once you arrive you will go around the canals with the characteristic paddle boats lasting about half an hour; it is possible to get off and make stops to buy goods or simply enjoy the spectacle of colors that the market offers. Another stop is a visit to the Railway Market in the neighboring village of Maeklong, where there is the characteristic fresh market on the railway tracks which is moved as the train passes.

DAY 3: ROYAL PALACE HALF DAY IN THE MORNING
Breakfast at the hotel and visit of the Grand Palace, the Royal Palace of Bangkok.
It is recommended to dress respectfully, do not wear T-shirts that leave the shoulders uncovered or short shorts.
We will start from the Royal Palace, every traveler should visit the Royal Grand Palace at least once.
The complex dthe 61 hectares includes Wat Phra Kaeo, the holiest Buddhist site in the country, where the most important image resides, the Emerald Buddha, the Golden Chedi, the Pantheon of the Chakri kings, and the colorful eight towers.
Then we visit the adjacent Wat Pho temple, the home of the most famous and recognized Thai massage school in the world. In a grandiose garden of bonsai trees is the largest statue of the Reclining Buddha in all of Thailand with its 46 meters in length. Last stop of the day Wat Traimit, the temple of the Golden Buddha weighing 5 and a half tons, the only surviving statue of the Buddha from the war with the Burmese in Ayuttaya.

DAY 4: TOUR OF THE CANALS HALF DAY AFTERNOON
Breakfast at the hotel and free morning.
Afternoon tour along the Chao Praya River, then enter the city via the Thonburi Canal. You can admire all the major temples of the city that are located along the river from a different perspective. Since some neighborhoods are still stilted along the canals, you can see the inhabitants and their way of life along the river.

DAY 5: FREE DAY
Breakfast at the hotel and free day at leisure for relaxation and shoppingor for optional individual excursions that can be purchased by our staff on site.

DAY 6: BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA - KAMPHAENG PHET - SUKHOTHAI
Departure from your Bangkok hotel to visit the ancient capital of Siam Ayuthaya. Founded in 1350 its name derives from Ayodhaya the house of Rama in the epic Ramayana. Today the ruins are scattered among the modern buildings of the city, visit the main temples including Wat Mahathat one of the largest in Ayutthaya, visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet located inside the royal palace of Ayutthaya, the three chedi are have been restored and contrast greatly with the surrounding ruins. Visit of the Viharn Phra Mongkol Bophit which houses a gilded bronze Buddha among the largest in Thailand.
Continue to Kamphaeng Phet built by the Sukhohai dynasty (1347-1368) the first real Thai kingdom.
Arrive in Sukhothai in the evening.

DAY 7: SUKHOTHAI - CHIANG RAI
Departure in the morning to visit the Sukhothai Historical Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The visit is made by bicycle or aboard characteristic rickshaws to visit the Wat Mahathat and Wat Si Sawai temples where there are three Khmer-style prangs.
Continue to Chiang Rai with a stopin Lampang to visit the famous Wat Phra That Lampang Luang temple, one of the most important temples in northern Thailand.
Arrival in Chiang Rai in the evening.

Overnight at Wiang Indra Riverside Resort.

DAY 8: CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI
Departure in the morning to visit the village of the Mae Chan tribe. Continuation to the Golden Triangle, this area was known as the center of opium cultivation. Visit to the Opium Museum, then continue along the Mekong River where the borders of three countries meet: Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.
Return to Chiang Rai to visit the Wat Rong Khun temple also known as the White Temple.
Continue to Chiang Mai and arrive in the evening.

DAY 9: CHIANG MAI AND SURROUNDINGS
Departure in the morning to visit the Elephant Camp in Mae Taman where you can admire the elephants at work.
* Optional: elephant ride around the camp with a separate supplement to be paid locally.
Visit to the village of Karen women better known as "giraffe women".
In the afternoon visit the villages of Bo Sang and San Kamphaeng, famous production centers of local handicrafts, wood, silk, silver and rice paper.
At the end of the visits, I return tohotel.

DAY 10: CHIANG MAI - DOI SUTHEP
At dawn we will participate in the offering of food to the Buddhist monks, then breakfast at the hotel and visit of the Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple which is located on top of the Doi Suhtep mountain from which you can admire the beautiful view of the city. Continue to visit Wat Suan Dok.
Free afternoon.

DAY 11: FREE DAY
Breakfast at the hotel and free day at leisure for relaxation, shopping or for optional individual excursions that can be purchased by our staff on site.
